DWG File Viewer

The DWG File Viewer provides a server-side capability to upload DWG (and optionally DXF) drawings for quick online preview and data access. Target users include engineers, architects, CAD technicians, and students who need rapid access to a drawing's content without installing CAD software. The tool focuses on viewing and data extraction rather than editing.
Conceptually, the system parses the uploaded file, verifies compatibility with common DWG versions, infers units, and inventories layers and entities. It then renders a viewable representation for quick inspection and produces a metadata object containing version, units, file size, layer names, and entity counts.
