What sizes are embedded by default?

Default embedded sizes typically include 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, and 512x512. Providing additional sizes is supported, while non-positive values are rejected.

Does transparency preserve alpha?

Yes. If the input PNG has transparency, 32-bit depth is used to preserve the alpha channel in all embedded sizes. If no transparency exists, 24-bit depth is used by default.

Can I convert animated PNGs or non-PNG sources?

The tool accepts PNG inputs only. Animated PNGs are not supported, and inputs must be single-frame PNG images. Non-PNG sources must be converted before use.
