If rate data is temporarily unavailable, the tool returns a specific error and may fall back to the last known rate if permitted by the configuration; otherwise, it requires a retry.

Is this suitable for official quotes?

The tool provides approximate conversions for planning, budgeting, and internal quotes. It is not an official bank quote and should not be used for settlement or formal tax calculations.
